Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible for the 2025 FAO–Hungarian Government Scholarship Program, candidates need to:
- Be citizens and inhabitants of one of the aforementioned qualifying nations.
- Have outstanding academic accomplishments
- Exhibit fluency in the English language (for courses taught in English).
- Have a lot of motivation
- Stay healthy.
- You should ideally be younger than thirty.

Application Process:
There are two stages to the FAO–Hungarian Government Scholarship selection process:
Phase 1: FAO Pre-Screening
- FAO will pre-screen candidates and send qualified applications to Hungary's Ministry of Agriculture.
- Applications will be forwarded by the Ministry to the relevant Hungarian universities for review.
- Applications that are incomplete or lack necessary supporting documentation won't be processed.
Phase 2: The Selection Process for Universities
- Candidates who get the short list might have to take an oral or written English test.
- The ultimate selection will be made by the participating university.
- The Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture will notify those who are selected.
