The United Nations International LAW Fellowship 2025 in the Netherlands is now accepting applications. The International LAW Fellowship is open to all international applicants. The goal of the United Nations Fellowships in the Netherlands is to increase the participants' understanding of international law and the legal operations of the UN. The Fellowship Program accepts up to 20 people from emerging and developing countries.

The United Nations LAW Fellowship in the Netherlands is accepting applications from international candidates for a fully supported summer fellowship. The United Nations International Fellowship is a three-week summer program that is offered each year. Participants will arrive at Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands. The UN Summer Fellowship will run from June 30, 2025, to August 1, 2025. A maximum of twenty individuals will be chosen for the UN International Fellowship. There is no application fee, and the program will cover all expenses. During the fellowship, participants will attend seminars and lectures on international law; upon completion, they will get a certificate. Government officials and international law professors from poor and emerging economies are the target audience for the Fellowship Program, which aims to provide eligible professionals with a greater grasp of international law and the legal activities of the United Nations.

In responsibility of the International Law Fellowship Program is the Codification Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs. Through the Fellowship Program, distinguished scholars and practitioners provide excellent education on a variety of core topics in international law. Participants can also exchange thoughts and experiences due to the participatory nature of the program, which promotes better understanding and cooperation on contemporary issues in international law.

  • Candidates must speak and write English fluently.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a high capacity for field leadership.
