Canadian Government Scholarships 2025-26 For International Students
The Canadian Government Scholarships 2025–2026 are now accepting applications. The Canadian Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students in all academic fields that will pay for all of the chosen students' costs while they are studying in Canada for free. International students can now apply for Canadian government scholarships to study bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.
Academic scholarships for up to two years of post-secondary study leading to a diploma, post-secondary or post-graduate certificate, or master's degree at a Canadian college, technical or vocational school, or university are available through Global Affairs Canada's newly launched Canada Scholarship Program.

Financial Benefits:
Scholarships for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees are completely free under the Canada Government Scholarships for International Students 2025–2026. International scholarships will pay for things like:
- CAD 12,700 for graduate students (Master's and PhD) for a period of five to six months of study or research, or CAD 10,200 for college, undergraduate, or graduate students (Master's and PhD) for at least four months or one academic term.
- Additionally, the Canadian host institution may claim CAD 500 per award recipient to help with administrative expenses when the recipient arrives in Canada, using funds that DFATD has allotted to the recipients.
- Fees for work permits, study permits, visas, and travel associated with biometric collecting
- Flights in Economy
- Health insurance ticket
- Up to 20 months of tuition and other required costs for the academic program
- Costs of living, including housing, utilities, and food
- Costs of ground transportation, including a pass for public transit
- Books and other materials needed for the recipient's research or study, excluding computers and other devices.
- Note: Language instruction is not covered by the award.
Scholarship Period:
- The length of the Master's degree scholarship in Canada
Funding or for short courses like:
- At least one academic year (eight months)
- No more than two academic years (24 months in total), starting in August 2025 and ending in February 2026.
Academic Programs Offered:
- Students from all fields are eligible to apply for the Study in Canada Scholarships program.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Comoros, Djibouti, Fiji, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Liberia, Mauritania, Micronesia, Palau, Tonga, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Vanuatu are among the eligible nations in which individuals must be citizens. Additionally eligible are Palestinians living in East Jerusalem, Gaza, and the West Bank.
- The individual must not be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, nor have an application for permanent residence in Canada pending.
- Must submit an application and be accepted into a full-time course of study at a post-secondary institution in Canada;
- When applying for admission to a Canadian university, they should specify that they would like to be considered for the Study in Canada Scholarships program, and
- Must have the language skills required to study in either French or English, the language of instruction at the Canadian post-secondary school.

- To apply for the scholarship on behalf of students, log in or create an account using the "Apply Link" provided below.
- After logging into your account, click "Apply Now" after choosing the Study in Canada Scholarships program under "For Non Canadians."
- Fill in the required fields with information and adhere to each item's instructions.
- Add all necessary supporting documentation. For the application to upload successfully, each document must be less than 5 MB and in one of the following formats: PDF, JPG, Doc, DocX, TXT, or GIF.
- Press "SUMBIT." A reference number for applications that have been submitted will be sent to you along with a confirmation message.
- Use the browser's print feature to print the form for your records.
- Check the information before submitting it.
