In order to qualify for the 2025 Hungarian Summer University Scholarship, candidates need to:
- Possess citizenship from a nation (such as Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Egypt, etc.) that has a bilateral agreement with Hungary.
- Individual Candidates: Applications are also accepted from citizens of more than 40 qualifying nations, including the USA, UK, Germany, India, Japan, and more.
- At the time of application, you must be at least 18 years old.
- not be a citizen of Hungary (including dual citizenship, permanent residence, or Hungarian refugee status).

Application Process:
Candidates must use the official application portal of the Tempus Public Foundation to finish the online application process:
- Apply online at apply.diasporascholarship.hu.
- Make an account: Enter your email address and password to register.
- Upload the necessary files: Send in all required documentation for evaluation.
- Choose Your Courses: Candidates will only be admitted to one of their two (02) preferred courses.
- Application must be submitted before the deadline.
