Who Doesn't Qualify?
Applicants are not qualified if they- Possess or have applied for permanent residence or citizenship in Canada.
- Are currently enrolled in a Canadian program leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate.
- Are presently receiving funding from another scholarship provided by the Canadian government.
Criteria for Selection
Scholarships are given out according to:- Merit of the proposed study or research.
- Influence on classmates and the home institution.
- Possible contributions to the institution in Canada.
- Strength of the connections between academic study and cultural interchange.
- Students who have never been awarded a Study in Canada Scholarship previously are given preference.

Application Process:
Direct applications are not accepted from overseas students. A Canadian institution must collaborate with their home institution to submit the application on their behalf.
